NJ Transit provides bus service between Perth Amboy and Middletown, with bus stops in Keyport and connection to NJ Transit rail service (in Perth Amboy and South Amboy along the North Jersey Coast Line)
Skipper Bus
The Keyport Skipper Bus offers FREE transportation services for Keyport residents to local grocery shopping, library, borough hall, senior center, food pantry, the waterfront, and farmers market (in season).
The Skipper Bus operates on Tuesday & Thursday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (last run is 3:00 PM).
The Skipper Bus was obtained by the Borough of Keyport through a Federal Transit Administration section 5310 grant administered by NJ Transit.
